We have one aim – to help people of all ages and abilities, move better and develop and maintain a positive mental health regime through regular exercise.

How we achieve this is, is through using a combination of techniques from Personal Training to Intrinsic Biomechanics and I Move Freely to improve your functional fitness and mobility, together with Qi Gong and Oxygen Advantage exercises to improve your breathing.

Why Paul Collins Fitness?

I have had a lifelong love of exercise and fitness. In 2014, I started my fitness business in Bude, north Cornwall offering one on one fitness training and small group Personal Training.  Over the years, I have continued to train and develop my knowledge and experience so that I can offer my clients a personalised fitness programme that suits their needs and, in many cases, complex health needs. I invest heavily in my professional development and as a result, am qualified to work with a wide range of people with more complex needs from diabetes, obesity, degenerative conditions, and pre and post natal and lower back pain to name but a few. As an Exercise Referral Specialist, I am used to working with health and medical professionals to ensure your program is safe and appropriate for you.

Before starting any programme, a thorough assessment will be undertaken and then a recommendation will be made on the appropriate programme for you to achieve your goals whether they be increased mobility, developing strength, or exercising for your mental well-being. As all the programmes are individual, we can also support your physical training with goal-setting and weight management programmes including healthy recipes if required.

Our studio and training field is conveniently situated between Stratton and Red Post just off the A3072. We have a range of equipment from free weights, kettlebells, TRX, rowing machine, SkiErg, static bike, and resistance bands … to name but a few. I believe that for exercise to become part of someone’s routine, it must be fun and enjoyable so all the sessions are varied to maintain interest levels. We liken it to big kids, playing hard and getting fit!
